This is one of the easiest recipes in the world, but tastes great!
- One whole rainbow trout of about 2lb’s in weight
- One lemons,
- Rock salt
- Lemon pepper
- Powdered garlic
- Powdered onion
- One ounce fresh dill
- 100ml of white wine
Baked Trout Recipe Preparation:
Preheat oven to 475 F/ 245 C.
Clean, rinse and dry the trout.
Finely slice the lemons. Sprinkle the salt, lemon pepper, garlic powder and onion powder within the cavity of the trout, and stuff with 3 sprigs of dill and half of the sliced lemons.
Make shallow diagonal cuts through the skin of the trout. Place cubes of butter onto the skin of the trout. Places the remaining sprigs of dill and the left over lemons slices on top of the rainbow trout, and dust with paprika.
Pour the wine into the base of the baking dish around the trout. Bake for 25-30 mins.
Serving Suggestion for Baked Trout
Try serving with new potatoes, fresh green vegetables and hollandaise sauce.
