2 slices of trout fillet
3 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
100 g of raw almonds with skin removed, sliced or minced
30 g garlic butter
20 ml of fresh milk
1 tablespoon coriander powder
100 g flour
1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves, shredded
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon white wine/red wine vinegar
Beautiful Fresh Trout Fillet
Coat the fillet before frying. Combine the flour, coriander powder, salt and pepper in a deep bowl. Dip the fillet one by one into the bowl with 20 ml of fresh milk then coat it with the flour mixture.
Melt 30 g garlic butter in the pan and fry the fillet for approximately 2 minutes on each side. Place the fillets in a plate lined with paper towel to absorb excess butter.
For the sauce:
Sauté the minced garlic and the sliced almonds in low heat until it turns golden brown, then add the brown sugar, honey and soy sauce, pinch of salt and pepper, fresh basil leaves and the teaspoon of white wine or red wine vinegar. Stir briskly and remove from fire.
Put the fried fillets in a serving plate and pour the honey glazed almond sauce mixture on top.
